About Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting

Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting in Japan

In Japan after the ASO (Analog Switch-Off on television), utilizing the vacated VHF frequency, new wireless systems have been introduced. One of them is the V-High Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting service, launched in April, 2013, using the V-High frequency band of 207.5 – 222MHz. The ISDB-Tmm is adopted in this service as its standard.

ARIB Standards and Technical Reports for ISDB-Tmm

ISDB-Tmm is standardized by ARIB. There are several Standards (STD) and Technical Reports (TR) concerning ISDB-Tmm.

ARIB STD and TR for ISDB-Tmm are described in Table 1
(List of ARIB STD and TR for ISDB-T)
