35th Top Level Management Conference of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), Going Digital : DVB-T or ISDB-T

The 35th top level management conference of KBP was held at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay, Philippines on November 13, 2009. In the conference presentations were given by DVB-T and ISDB-T representatives. From November 12 to 13, demonstrations of ISDB-T were exhibited to show a variety of features ISDB-T offers.

Four presentations were performed from the ISDB-T side.

1. Main features of ISDB-T, assistance from Japan, trial transmission of ISDB-T signals by Philippine broadcasters

Demonstrations

Receiving the ISDB-T signals transmitted from Manila, 60 km away from Tagaytay, the following demonstrations were displayed to the Participants: HDTV, multichannel SDTV, One-seg service and emergency warning broadcasting system.
