Multi channel SDTV

The bandwidth of a single digital channel can be used to transmit two or three programs with standard definition simultaneously.

With ISDB system, a single HDTV channel can be used to transmit two or three SDTV (standard definition TV) programs simultaneously. Broadcasters can provide either one HDTV program or ,for example, three SDTV programs using one broadcasting channel.

When a live sports program does not end as scheduled, you can enjoy your favorite drama program at the usual time while the sports program continuously being broadcasted with SDTV quality through one channel.
