An Electronic Program Guide (EPG) is an on-screen guide to scheduled programs for up to one week in the future, eight days including the current day. An EPG is accessed using a remote control and allow viewers to see a short summary or commentary for each program is listed, or search for programs based on category and other criteria, or set recordings for the future.
