On November 9-11, 2011, the KBP (Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas, the Association of Broadcasters of the Philippines) held its annual 37th Top Level Management Conference in Holiday Inn Hotel, Clark Freeport Philippines, Angels City, Philippines.
During the conference, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan and the Association of Radio Industries and Businesses (ARIB) made an exhibition booth in cooperation with ACCESS Co., Ltd., Hitachi Kokusai Electric Inc., Maspro Denkoh Corp., Mitsumi Electric Co., Ltd., NEC Corporation, Sharp Corporation and Smart network Corporation showcasing variety of ISDB-T products.
Transmitter equipments, receivers, measuring instruments, etc. were exhibited, and a lot of meeting participants visited the Japan booth. Moreover, the Philippines President Aquino who greeted on the first day of the general meeting dropped in at the Japan booth, and we explained him about the exhibition. We are sure that our exhibition was effectively contribute to promote ISDB-T introduction in the Philippines.
